Providing You With the Highest Quality Vein Care

The Vein Center offers state-of-the-art imaging and laser technology to treat most veins without surgery. Our team practices in multiple locations close to where you live and work, providing personalized care with the goal of reducing pain and shortening recovery times.

The Vein Center treats a variety of vein conditions, including:

  • Varicose veins
Varicose veins are veins close to the skin's surface that have become stretched, dilated and twisted. They are caused when blood valves in the legs do not work properly. This allows blood to pool in the legs and causes a burning or aching feeling. Although varicose veins are common, they are rarely a serious problem.
  • Spider veins
Spider veins are twisted veins just under the skin's surface. They most often appear on the legs. Spider veins are a mild variation of a varicose vein and very common. They are often painless and do not cause health problems.
  • Vein-related leg pain
Symptoms of vein-related leg pain can be an achy or heavy feeling in the legs. Burning, throbbing, muscle cramping and swelling in the lower legs can occur. Pain can worsen after sitting or standing for a long time.
  • Deep vein thrombosis (DVT)
DVT is a condition where a blood clot forms in a deep vein in the body. DVT is a medical emergency that needs immediate treatment. The blood clot can partially or totally block blood flow in the vein. The clot can travel to your lungs and block blood flow there. This can be life-threatening.
  • Vein-related pelvic discomfort (pelvic congestion syndrome)
Studies estimate that one-third of all women will experience chronic pelvic pain during their life. Recent research shows that the pain may be caused by hard-to-detect varicose veins in the pelvis. This is known as pelvic congestion syndrome.
  • Vascular malformations
Vascular malformations are caused by veins that have developed abnormally and stretched over time. These can be painful and cause sensitivity around the veins, resulting in a bluish discoloration.

The Vein Center offers a variety of vein treatment options* including:

  • Microphlebectomy
Numbing of the skin and to remove vericose veins through tiny incisions that do not require sutures.
  • Sclerotherapy
A solution is injected into the affected vericose vein resulting in the vein collapsing and sealing shut, stopping the vein’s blood flow and causing it to fade or disappear.
  • Surgical vein litigation and stripping
Tying off (ligate) and removing (strip) vericose veins through small incisions in your leg and redirect the blood flow to nearby healthy veins.
  • VBEAM
Quick pulsed laser treatment to destroy abnormal blood vessels to improve the appearance of blood vessels.
  • VenaSeal™
An alternative to surgical ligation and stripping using medical glue to treat varicose veins, which allows for a shorter recovery and minimal scarring.

Treatment options may vary by location. Please contact a Vein Center location to learn more about services they offer.
